We have a variety of room types, from standard semi-double rooms to Standard Twin and Deluxe Twin rooms convenient for two people, as well as Japanese-style rooms that are convenient for co-sleeping with children. The Guest rooms also has a large public bath that is alternated between men and women depending on the time of day, so you can relax and unwind after a long day. Breakfast is a perfect way to start your day, with a Japanese and Western buffet featuring salads of fresh vegetables from the Nayoro area and ingredients from Hokkaido. Be sure to try our rich curry made with local vegetables.
In Nayoro, which is rich in nature, you can see a beautiful starry sky with the naked eye all year round. At the Kita Subaru Observatory, about 15 minutes by car from the city center, you can observe dark celestial bodies that are rarely seen anywhere else. In summer, a sunflower field covering about 50 hectares spreads across the city. Please take a look at the yellow carpet as far as the eye can see. In winter, the snow produced in this bitterly cold area where the temperature drops to minus 30 degrees Celsius is called silky snow (snow as fine as silk), and the city has declared itself to be the "city with the best snow quality in Japan." Furthermore, if special conditions are met during the harsh winter, you can see the "sun pillar phenomenon," in which diamond dust reflects sunlight and appears.
If you come to Nayoro, please enjoy the local cuisine. First of all, glutinous rice boasts the highest production in Japan. One-tenth of the nation's glutinous rice is produced in Nayoro, and its high quality is used in various mochi products. And you can't miss the soul food of Nayoro residents, "stewed Jingisukan." Jingisukan is a gourmet dish that represents Hokkaido, but in Nayoro, it is marinated in a lot of sauce and then stewed with vegetables and noodles. There are shops that serve it in the "Nayoro Shopping Street" near the hotel, so why not try it out? In addition, please enjoy the agricultural products that are grown in the blessed natural environment, such as thick and soft "asparagus" in spring, juicy "melon" in summer, "sweet corn" and "pumpkin" in autumn, and "starry sky snow-viewing spinach" that has endured the freezing cold in winter.
