Information: Fukuoka Notice of Accommodation Tax Introduction
Stay in a place surrounded by popular spots. A hotel for those who want to enjoy Fukuoka to the fullest. Located in the heart of Fukuoka City, HOTEL MYSTAYS is the perfect base from which to explore the myriad of Fukuoka's attractions. In this historic city, you can enjoy modern development and a number of venerable temples at the same time. HOTEL MYSTAYS Fukuoka Tenjin Minami is located just a 5-minute walk from Tenjin Minami Station, making it an ideal base for sightseeing and business. In addition, from March 2023, the Nanakuma Subway Line will be extended, and it is only 4 minutes from Tenjin Minami Station to Hakata Station, and about 15 minutes to Fukuoka Airport (domestic flight) by transferring to Hakata Station. If you are thinking of fulfilling sightseeing, please ask the staff of the hotel, who know the city inside out. The hotel offers a wide range of rooms from doubles to queens and twins to meet the needs of your group. All rooms are equipped with memory foam pillows, so you can get a deep night's sleep and get rid of the fatigue of a day's journey. Some rooms are equipped with a kitchenette, so you can rest assured that you will stay for a long time. High-speed Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. The hotel, which can be used as a great base for sightseeing in Kyushu, is close to the entertainment district of Nakasu and Canal City Hakata. To experience the true majesty of Fukuoka City, we recommend that you plan your trip during the Hakata Gion Yamakasa, which is held every July. The festival has a history of more than 700 years and was registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2016. It is crowded with hundreds of thousands of people every year and is one of the traditions that heralds the arrival of summer in Hakata. No trip to Fukuoka is complete without eating Hakata ramen. No matter what your food preference is, you can enjoy a wide variety of Fukuoka specialties as soon as you step outside the hotel. Speaking of Hakata, it is a "food stall", but Hakata food stalls have not only ramen but also yakitori and fried foods, and there is a wide variety of fugu specialty stores and French food stalls. The food stalls in Hakata are not concentrated in one place as a food stall street, but there are stalls lined up all over the city, so you can stop by on the way back to the hotel. At HOTEL MYSTAYS Fukuoka Tenjin Minami, you can enjoy the best of Fukuoka with the best of the world.

When I read the reviews with low ratings, I wondered if it was really the same hotel. I really felt blessed. First of all, all the male staff at the front desk were friendly and left a good impression. I stayed in the room for three nights, but it wasn't that dirty so I passed and just got a towel and tea, but they were smiling and left a very good impression. So, I'm a bit confused about the low rating. As I mentioned before, I was really lucky❗❗ I really realized that it's the little things, and sometimes the big things, that really decide your impression. ーーーーー Other people had written that the room was dirty, so as I have a house dust allergy, I called in advance to request that the room be thoroughly cleaned. The hotel said, "We've written your request in the handover information," and I was able to stay comfortably in a room that was clean enough and had no dust or other stains. Other chain hotels have really terrible service and I hope they learn from this hotel's example.

The location was not that close, but otherwise there were no problems. I might use it again if I have the chance.

Good points: It's in a location that is easy to get to the main street, so it's easy to get to the station and bus stop, and there are many restaurants nearby. I didn't mind the noise outside, which is unique to downtown areas. There were two elevators. The room and closet were spacious enough, and the bathroom was clean. The sound of the water and boiler in other rooms was not completely silent, but it was relatively quiet. The receptionist was also nice. I've stayed at several hotels in the same price range as this one in the Tenjin Hakata area, but I would like to return to this one. Just one thing. I was in a room near the elevator on the 6th floor, and I can't help but understand that the people who come home at night are noisy. The microwave in front of the elevator was so loud that I couldn't fall asleep easily, which was a dissatisfaction factor. In particular, I was impressed by the foreigners who probably didn't know how to use it, slamming the door violently and making a beep beep beep beep and talking in a moderate voice.

The room was small and there was an outside staircase... but it was relatively clean and there was a coffee machine at the front desk, so it was good for the price. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
