We offer a variety of room types, including Japanese-style rooms, Western-style rooms, and Special Japanese-Western-Style Room (with bath) with panoramic baths. The large public bath offers a relaxing indoor bath with a burnt cedar interior reminiscent of the ancient capital, as well as a relaxing open-air bath where you can enjoy the natural Hot springs.
Nara, which flourished as the political, economic and cultural center of Japan from 710 to 784, is rich in cultural resources related to Buddhism. The Heijo Palace Site, adjacent to the hotel, is the former palace site of Heijo-kyo, which was moved from Fujiwara-kyo. Some of the buildings, such as the Taigokuden and Suzakumon Gate, have been restored, and there are many things to see. You can also enjoy the beautiful night view when it is lit up at night. There are also many other famous places registered as World Heritage sites scattered around the area. Todai-ji Temple, where the seated statue of Vairocana Buddha, known as the Great Buddha Nara, is enshrined, is about 15 minutes by car. Kasuga Taisha Shrine, which was founded to protect Heijo-kyo and is famous for its shrine buildings being rebuilt every 20 years, is about 20 minutes by car. Kofuku-ji Temple, which flourished as the family temple of Fujiwara Kamatari and was moved to this place when the capital was moved, is about 15 minutes by car. It is about a 10-minute drive to Yakushiji Temple, which was built at the request of Emperor Tenmu and is representative of the layout of Buddhist temple buildings at the time. Throughout its long history, many temples have been burned down and rebuilt countless times due to wars, but they have survived to this day thanks to the deep faith of the people.
The Access is accessible from multiple stations, about a 15-minute walk from Kintetsu Yamato-Saidaiji Station, or about a 15-minute taxi ride from JR Nara Line Nara Station. If you are traveling to Nara to reminisce about its history and culture, please use our hotel.
