綺麗なホテル。空港からタクシーで3.300円だった。一人旅なので少し高かった。空港の案内所で国際ホテルに行きたいと聞いたらもうバスは無い、と言われタクシーにした。後で調べたら空港からホテルの近くの函館駅まで10分おきにバスがあった。案内所の若い女性は不親切だった。函館駅からホテルまでタクシーで600円、帰りはそうした。歩いても5分位。ホテルのレストランもまずまず良かった。朝の海鮮丼御膳、鰻重御膳はどちらも旨かった。ビュッフェも悪く無い…通常通りのホテル並み。函館山ロープウェイ口まで歩いて行ける。すぐ側に函館ビールが有り地ビール党にはお勧め。比較的近くに回転寿司もあったが水曜日は休み。水曜日休みの店が多かった。仕方無く向かいのラーメン屋で餃子とワンタン麺を食べたが…好みに依るが不味かった、失敗した。餃子はデカいだけ。若い人達には良いかも!?

函館駅から徒歩10分弱の距離で、赤レンガ倉庫エリアにも徒歩10分程度なので、立地がよいです。創業50年を超えた大型ホテルで、落ち着きがあり、とても雰囲気がよかったです。
館内にランドリー（利用料も手頃）があり、部屋のテレビで空き状況や終了までの時間が確認できてとても便利でした。
朝食ビュッフェはすべては食べきれないほど品数、種類が豊富で、とても楽しめました。ただ、期待していた海鮮の味、質は残念。7時頃には空席待ちの列ができていました。
朝食時に館内の売店で利用できる100円のサービス券をいただけたので、お土産の菓子の購入に利用しました。
西館のお部屋になると大浴場やレストランまで距離があるので、必要なら事前に本館の部屋をリクエストしたほうがよいと思います。
ホテルの駐車場は1泊1000円。すぐそばに400〜500円で停められるコインパーキングもあります。

重厚感のある広々としたロビーで、ワクワクしました。朝市や金森赤レンガ倉庫、函館山ロープウェイなどが徒歩圏内でとても便利でした。空港行きのバスも何本かですがホテルの前から乗ることができ、荷物の多い帰りには良かったです。
ここの口コミで指摘されていた事を改善しようとしている姿勢が見られて好印象でした。今回はGW最終日の宿泊でそれほど混雑していなかったので特に必要ありませんでしたが、大浴場の混雑状況がテレビでちぇっくできたり、朝食の整理券を部屋にいながらQRコードで取れるシステムなど良いと思いました。
ベットサイドにコンセントがない分延長コードががあって便利に使わせていただきましたが、引き出しの中に袋に入ってあったので、気付かない人はいるかもしれませんね。
朝食も美味しくいただけましたが、お料理をとるときにトレーを置く場所がないので、汁物などをよそいたい時など、両手を使いたい時は空いている少しのスペースにギリギリ置いたりして不便でした。
スタッフの方はどの方もとても親切だった印象で、総じてとてもいいホテルでした。お世話になりました。

赤煉瓦倉庫や函館駅、少し頑張ればロープウェイまでも歩いて行けるとても良い場所でした。
コンビニも何軒も近くにあって便利でした。
朝ごはんのバイキングのイクラが嬉しかったです。種類も多くどれも美味しかったです。

４月初旬平日に２泊させていただきました。いわゆるエコノミーな料金での宿泊ですが、ほどほど広さがあり、三人掛けソファーで横にもなれ、掃除も行き届いて、特に空気清浄機の水がチャント抜かれて綺麗な状態で、安心して補充使用できました。水の溜まり部分が汚れていたりすると可動するのが嫌になりますから。ベッド部分の床が少し高くなっているタイプの部屋で慣れないとチョット危ないかな。
フロントにお願いしたこともあったのですが、快くキチンと対応していただき感謝しております。
話題の朝食は皆さん記載されてますので、ビュッフェか丼にするかは好み次第。二日目に丼にしたのですが、やっぱり日本酒飲みながら海鮮や鰻が嬉しかったです。
地の利があるし、大満足の函館となりました。
